Our Place to go in Broadstairs
We live in Broadstairs and this is our place to go. Tilly and her team are just great...we love the cake.. Well worth a visit if you are in Broadstairs...Toby,Justine & Kelly
Beautiful cafe and lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Toys available for children. Also serves the best cream tea ever!
My partner and I popped into The Old Curiosity Shop as we couldn't get a lunch seat anywhere in Broadstairs -note to self 'remember to book'. However, thank goodness we did. The old Curiosity Shop is such a find! The paninis - he had the salmon one, and I had the melty cheese and ham were just what we needed. Happy friendly staff/owners, and a calm respite was just what we needed. We'll definitely be back ... Shan
Me and my Dad have been to The old Curisosity shop today for Lunch and I must say how welcoming and friendly they all are , nothing is too much trouble , we both had a Panini , Tuna Melt and Cheese and Bacon and they were both delicious . I have been to this resturant many time in over the year but have got to say that the new owner have made it a very welcoming place to spend time and have lunch and I love how they are rasing money for charties too . It is me and my Dads favourite place to go in Broadstairs and I love how dogs are allowed so I could also bring my dog Poppy along too . We will certainly be back thats for sure... Diana
Great coronation chicken toasties made by Hermione - absolutely lovely - really nice vibes and excellent service. Can’t recommend it enough 😁... Rydall
Gem of a place. Cosy and warm. Drop a penny in the Well and make a wish. Tilly you are doing such a great job. Lovely staff and gorgeous hot chocolate.... Cruiser
We were looking for somewhere for coffee after a Boxing Day walk and saw a sign saying they were dog friendly and so popped in. Really nice decor inside- was pleasantly surprised because when it looks ye olde and quaint outside you don’t know whether it’ll be dim, dark and cramped inside. Really friendly staff. Lovely cake and coffee and for a reasonable price too!...David
What an absolutely lovely place. Absolutely amazing owners who truly care about the cafe and their customers. Lovely food. Blissfully family friendly and dog friendly....Jose
First time visit today. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. A real cosy setting. Great coffee and a delicious bacon sandwich which they did not skimp on the filling. Well worth a visit if you are in Broadstairs....Steve
Amazing cream teas, amazing ambiance /vibe and amazing staff. Nothing mediocre about this place.
What a great little place. Two cream teas with the freshest warm scones and as much jam and cream as you might ever want to try to balance on them. What really makes this place though is the genuinely friendly staff. So busy but still somehow able to chat while getting things done. Enjoyed a great chat over the origins of coronation chicken, Victoria Sponge and whatever trifle it was that was designed for the coronation of King Charles. This place and the staff really made our trip to Broadstairs. Thank you so much.
